Deck Builder Orleans

Some decks are for a quiet morning coffee. Others need to host the whole family on a long weekend. Paquette Contracting is a deck builder in Orleans that designs outdoor spaces around the way you entertain, with room to cook, eat and relax. Our three-person team plans every detail on site and builds each deck on a foundation suited to your yard.

A deck that hosts people needs clear zones. We often plan a dining area near the kitchen door, a spot for the barbecue set away from foot traffic and a lounge corner where guests can settle in. As a deck builder in Orleans, we work out those zones during the site visit, when Jonathan can see the yard, the doors and the path of the sun. Multi-level designs can separate areas naturally on sloped lots, while picture-frame borders and contrasting board colours define spaces on a single level.

On an entertaining deck, the railing frames every view from the table. We install railings in Orleans that complement the decking material and the style of your home, with posts anchored firmly into the frame. Planning them with your deck builder in Orleans from the start means post locations line up with the layout, stairs and seating instead of interrupting them, and the finished edge feels like part of the design.

Shade and ground-level space can turn a good deck into an outdoor room. We build pergolas that frame a dining or lounge area and soften the afternoon sun, along with patios that extend your living space beyond the deck. Designing these features with the same deck builder in Orleans keeps heights, colours and materials consistent across the yard. You can read about the standards we bring to every project on our Ottawa deck construction page.

With 8 years in the trade, we have learned that the best decks come from people who stay close to the work.
